Welcome to Years 3 & 4

Class Teachers:

Miss Green (Mondays and Tuesdays)

Mrs Quayle (Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays)

Other Adults:

Mrs Noblett is our fabulous teaching assistant who works with us each day.

Mrs Redmayne is a parent volunteer and school governor who very kindly volunteers in class on a Thursday afternoon.

Important Information:

PE is on Mondays and Tuesdays so children should wear their PE uniform to school on these days.

Reading Records will be checked each Friday morning and children will be rewarded with Dojo points for reading at least 5 times each week. Remember, once a book has been finished, your child can complete AR tests at home as well as in school. Click on the logo at the bottom for our school login page.

All children have spelling lists with words to practise each week which can be done using Spelling Shed. Login details are in the front of children's reading records.

It's also really important for children to practise their times tables regularly so that they can recall the facts of all the times tables up to 12x12 by March of Year 4 (but by Christmas would be even better!). After our fabulous class effort raising money, we now have access to TTRS (Times Table Rock Stars). The login information for this is in the front of your child's reading record. Other useful websites for times table practice are Purple Mash (click on the logo at the bottom of the page) or www.timestables.co.uk

You can access Purple Mash, Accelerated Reader, Spelling Shed and TTRS from home - login details are in the front of reading records.
