We had a fab day on Friday learning more about Fair Trade. The Pupil Council ran their ever popular Fair Trade snack shop where they sold cakes they'd made using Fair Trade ingredients. They raised £35.34 for St Catherine's Hospice Care with the cake sale!
This was followed by a Fair Trade workshop in the afternoon which was led by a Fair Trade Ambassador from South Ribble. The day was finished off with a Fair Trade stall in the hall where parents and carers could come and see that Fair Trade isn't just about chocolate. We are on our way now to gaining our second Fair Trade school award. Well done to the Pupil Council for all their hard work - you are making a difference as you live out our Christian ethos and values!
