Across the whole school we have had a spirituality and prayer day. We have thought about the Easter story. Starting with Palm Sunday, we thought about Jesus coming into Jerusalem and how he was a hero; this led on to us thinking about heroes we have. At the second station, we thought about The Last Supper and how Jesus blessed his disciples; we then thought about how we could be a blessing to others through things we do and say. Next was station three: another session on The Last Supper, but this time thinking about friends and how Jesus can be a friend; we thought about our friends and how we can all be good friends. Moving on to the fourth station, we looked at Jesus praying in the garden at Gethsemane. We thought about how we can pray to Jesus and ask his help with things. Station 5–the cross. We thought about how Jesus went willingly and died so we can be forgiven and have eternal life. The final station was station 6: Jesus’ resurrection; here we thought about how Jesus wanted the word to be a better place and how we could help with that.
