We have been learning a dance and are going to perform it for the rest of the school. It’s been lots of fun!
5/6 Fire service visit
We had a visit from our local fire service, reminding us about fire safety at home. The told us to make sure we have a plan to escape just in case of a fire and to make sure we check our smoke alarms at home. We also learned about keeping safe on roads too.
Chefs in training
We have been planning recipes with hero ingredients. Our class has been divided into 6 groups (two starters, two mains and two desserts). Each group has been given a hero ingredient: either a pepper, some salmon or some pineapple. We had to make sure this ingredient was the star of our recipe.…
Taste testing bolognese
We have been learning about healthy eating and where our food comes from. As part of this we have been taste testing different bolognese sauces, cheap and expensive. On the whole, as a class, we preferred the cheaper sauce.

Fair trade Fortnight
For Fairtrade Fortnight, we have been taking part in lots of activities. We started this morning with a cake sale, which went down very well, and this afternoon we learned all about Fairtrade and what they aim to do. It was incredibly interesting and we realised how lucky we are in this country.

Paralympian Visit
On Monday, we had a visit from Stuart Robinson. He is an amazing athlete who competed as part of our Team GB rugby team. We took part in a mini circuit of exercises; it was great fun and exhausting at the same time.
