What a busy term we have had! Although things look slightly different this year for a December in school, we have still been very busy making sure we are all prepared for a wonderful Christmas. We managed to finished out English unit about the Green Children and have written our own versions of this famous folk tale. The techniques we have developed show through in all our wonderful writing.

As it is nearly Christmas, we have been very crafty in Year 3/4 and used our artistic and creative skills to make lots of Christmassy bits. We had a whole Design and Technology day where we explored the use of a pneumatic systems to create a moving character, and of course this character had to be Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. We also spent time creating 3D Christmas tree cards that had plenty of festive sparkle on, plus using our weaving skills to make some community Christmas cards.

After such a busy term, its time to put our feet up and enjoy a well deserved break - Merry Christmas from Year 3/4!
