Christmas Fayre 2019 - 7th December 2019
What a fabulous day we had at our Christmas Fayre this year! It was wonderful to see school full of families, friends and the local community enjoying all the games, food, craft and stalls. A huge thank you to FOSS for organising the fayre and for raising almost £1000 for school!
Tower Wood October 2019
What a fantastic week we've had at Tower Wood yet again. The weather was (on the whole) really lovely which made the whole experience in the beautiful Lake District even better. The children took part in a range of activities depending on their age/group including kayaking, canoeing, tree climbing, orienteering, making fire and caving to name but a few. All the children were amazing, gave their absolute best in all the challenges, encouraging and supporting each other in true Samlesbury style. They learnt so much about confidence, teamwork, resilience, perseverance and enjoying the outdoors, which they will hopefully take forward with them for the coming year. FOSS Colour Run - July 2019
After the huge success of the very first colour run last year, FOSS organised a repeat this year - it was a very wet afternoon but in true Samlesbury style we overcame the rain and everyone had an amazing time. There were medals for everyone who took part and FOSS had the usual delicious BBQ and treats! If you didn't manage to make it this July, put it in your diaries for next year!
FOSS School Fancy Dress Disco - Oct 2019
